Dragonfly Cottage is an oceanfront vacation rental on a private estate a mile and a half north of Trinidad, California. It’s the ultimate in experiencing nature without having to rough it! Our upstairs cottage is cozy and comfortable. The privacy lends itself to whatever forms of relaxation or renewal you desire.
We’re open year-round and each season has its own charm. Winter storms can make for dramatic crashing waves along the bluffs. Spring and fall usually provide lots of sunny days. And in summer, the morning fog that burns off by mid-day keeps the coast cool while just a few miles inland the mountains and rivers enjoy the typical California heat.
On our grounds activities include whale watching along the bluffs, hiking down to secluded beaches or walking through meadows and forests. The surrounding area offers many more cultural and outdoor activities.
