About the Area
Dragonfly Cottage is located just north of the beautiful little village of Trinidad on northern California's rugged coast. Trinidad has one of the most beautiful natural harbors on the western coast of the United States, and boasts an active fishing community. Tourists from all over the world spend time here while getting reacquainted with the natural world. We’re surrounded by several National Forests of native redwood groves, uncrowded beaches, several rivers, and great fishing, kayaking and hiking.
The local Arcata/Eureka airport is about 10 minutes away from the property with several flights each day to San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Portland with connections to Seattle. Accommodations for private planes are also available. Car rentals can be made at the airport.
